Abagana is a town in Nigeria. It is the headquarters of Njikoka Local Government Area Anambra State and lies approximately 20 kilometres (12 miles) from Onitsha along the old Enugu-Onitsha Trunk A Road that divides the town into two halves.

Abagana is historically significant for its pivotal role in the Nigerian Civil War (Biafran War), especially the famous Abagana Ambush on March 31, 1968, where Biafran forces inflicted a devastating defeat on the Nigerian Army, boosting morale and halting their advance.
