Abu Al-Khaseeb (sometimes spelled Abu Al-Khasib) is a town in Abu Al-Khaseeb District, Basra Governorate, southern Iraq. Its name translates to "an rich area, or an area of abundance", referring to the fertile Shatt Al-Arab river.
