About Aschaffenburg
Aschaffenburg is a town in northwest Bavaria, Germany. The town of Aschaffenburg, despite being its administrative seat, is not part of the district of Aschaffenburg.
The “gate to the Spessart”, or the “bridge to the Rhenish culture”, is the centre of the Bavarian Untermain region. Aschaffenburg has a lot to offer culturally, including the city theatre, the Hofgarten cabaret, and the Jesuit Church art gallery.
