About Bayamón
Bayamón is San Juan's largest suburb located about 6 miles (10 km) from Puerto Rico's capital. It is the site of some of Puerto Rico's famous attractions such as Parque de las Ciencias, a science and technology-themed park, and the Francisco Oller Museum dedicated to the famous Impressionist painter.

Getting around
The main public bus terminal is located by Bayamón station, and most of the urban area of the municipality is well connected through the Puerto Rico Metropolitan Bus Authority service (AMA). There is also the free BayaTrolley on weekdays from 6:30am - 5:30pm to connect the central district to key destinations for both residents and tourists. The city also has several bike lanes, and the historic downtown area is walkable. As with most cities in Puerto Rico, however, Bayamón is still very car-centric.
