Getting in

Danao is on the coastal highway that rings Cebu Island, about 35 km north of Cebu City on the Central Nautical Highway N8. The Metro Cebu Expressway may eventually run from Naga to Danao. The project was halted in 2024 due to environmental concerns and, as of mid-2025, it remains incomplete.
