Frisco is a city in Collin and Denton counties in the U.S. state of Texas. It is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex (DFW) and about 25 miles (40 km) from both Dallas Love Field and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

The nearest airport with scheduled flights is Dallas Love Field (DAL), about 33 km from the city centre in a straight line; Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW, 34 km) and Fort Worth Meacham International Airport (FTW, 62 km) are also within reach.
Getting in
Frisco has several state highway and toll roads. From North (Sherman) or South (Dallas) on either State Highway 289 (also known as Preston Road) or the North Dallas Tollway (NDT). Access to the NDT is a few miles west on SH 380 from the intersection with SH 298. From Oklahoma, The best you can take either Interstate 35E fork which intersect with SH 380 in Denton TX or SH 121 Business and the SRT in Lewisville. US 75 which intersects with US 380 and SH 121/SRT in McKinney.
Getting around
There is no public transportation within the city of Frisco, and DART, the public transportation system in Dallas, does not reach the city, although it serves neighboring Plano. It is strongly suggested to rent a car or use one of the many ride sharing services available in the Area.
