Getting in

Isesaki is a stop on the JR Ryomo Line, and is the terminating station on the Tobu Isesaki Line. From Tokyo, Tobu trains depart from Asakusa Station. The fastest ride on Tobu is to take the all-reserved Ryomo limited express train, changing at Ota station to a local service for the run to Isesaki. With a good connection the trip takes approximately two hours and costs ¥2160. Taking regular Tobu commuter services decreases the fare to ¥1160, but increases the trip to approximately three hours and requires more station transfers.
