About Jhang

Jhang is the capital city of Jhang District in central Punjab, Pakistan. Situated on the east bank of the Chenab River, it is the 14th most populous city in Pakistan.

Getting in

Jhang is located about 210 km from Lahore, about 100km from Chiniot, 70 km from Faisalabad and some 35 km from Gojra. This large city is well connected by road. Jhang Faisalabad Road leads to Jhang from Chiniot or Faisalabad. The 19th century railway station is one of the oldest in Pakistan. Jhang is connected by rail to many major cities including Lahore, Karachi.

Getting around

They are still the most popular and efficient form of travel. Expect to pay anything between 20-100 Rs depending on the distance. Taxis can be found though at the bus and railway stations.
