Auto rickshaws are the primary transport vehicles available for public to get around Khammam. In the main routes you could share an auto with other passengers for ₹10 or less. If you want to go to the internal areas you have to bargain for a price.Any place in Khammam boundaries shouldn't exceed the prices of ₹40 for an individual and ₹60 for a group. The newly introduced city buses roam on the main roads and connect to some suburban villages outside Khammam. The buses are quite cheap but there are very less buses and the schedule is quite erratic.
