Luzhou is a prefecture-level city located in the southeast of Sichuan Province, China. It is also known as the "Liquor City" (酒城).

Luzhou has a history dating back over 2,000 years. It was an important river port for trade and a key site during several dynasties. The city’s name translates to "city of the reeds," reflecting its natural landscape near the riverbanks. Today, Luzhou is a vibrant city known for its role in the production of baijiu(白酒), particularly the famous Luzhou Laojiao brand, a strong distilled spirit that has gained international recognition. It also boasts a growing economy and developing tourism sector, attracting visitors with its picturesque river views, ancient towns, and cultural heritage.
