About Mai'Adua

Mai'Adua (or Birnin Mai'aduwa) is a town and Local Government Area in Katsina State, Nigeria, sharing a border with the Republic of Niger. It has an area of 528 km2 and a population of 201,178 at the 2006 census.

Mai’Adua is known for its proximity to the Nigerian-Niger border, making it a bustling center for cross-border trade. The area is predominantly Hausa-Fulani, and the people are deeply rooted in their traditions and culture. In Mai'Adua, it is hot all year round, the dry season is windy and partly cloudy, while the wet season is oppressive and predominantly cloudy.
