About Polomolok

The town's name was derived from "Flomlok", a B’laan term for "hunting grounds". It was historically a hunting ground for the B'laan people. The town was first established on November 2, 1940 as Polomolok Settlement District, but it was on August 21, 1957 when it was formally established as a town.
