Samannud (Arabic: سمنود Samannūd) is a city (markaz) located in Gharbia Governorate, Egypt. Known in classical antiquity as Sebennytos (Ancient Greek: Σεβέννυτος), Samannud is a historic city that has been inhabited since the Ancient Egyptian period.
