About Shangrao
Shangrao (simplified Chinese: 上饶; traditional Chinese: 上饒; pinyin: Shàngráo) is a medium-sized prefecture-level city located in the northeast of Jiangxi province, People's Republic of China. The city borders the province of Anhui to the north, the province of Zhejiang to the east, and the province of Fujian to the south.
Shangrao (shàngráo 上饶), formerly known as Xinzhou and Guangxin, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangxi Province. It is located in the northeastern part of Jiangxi Province, at the intersection of the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone, the Haixi Economic Zone, and the Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone. It is the northeastern gateway of Jiangxi Province and an important part of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Haixi Economic Zone. The name of the mountain is rich, and the land is rich in ancient times.
