Wuzhou (Chinese: 梧州; pinyin: Wúzhōu; Jyutping: Ng⁴zau¹, postal: Wuchow; Zhuang: Ngouzcouh / Ŋouƨcouƅ) is a prefecture-level city in the east of Guangxi, China.
Wuzhou is a prefecture-level city in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, located upstream of the Pearl River and known as the "Pearl of the Xijiang River." It has a long history and rich cultural heritage, and is a city built around its picturesque natural landscapes. The city's economy is primarily based on agriculture, with significant industries in sugar production, timber, and aquaculture, while it is also actively developing modern industry and tourism. Wuzhou has convenient transportation, serving as an important hub connecting the southern and southwestern regions of China.
