Getting around
Until the early 2010s, the city was famous for barren transportation infrastructure. Although transportation infrastructure has improved to some extent compared to the past, it is true that it is still lacking compared to the size of the city and its proximity to the metropolitan area. Most of Yangju City is highly dependent on Uijeongbu City, the central city in the northern part of Gyeonggi Province. Yangju is one of the cities where taxi fares are relatively expensive, and it is not easy to catch a taxi even if you use the application.
