About Yangsan

Yangsan is a city in Gyeongsangnam-do Province, South Korea.

Yangsan is a new residential town for the larger city of Busan. It has an expanding population about 360,000. Historically known as a peaceful mountain community home to vital Buddhist treasures, modern Yangsan seamlessly blends centuries-old traditions with contemporary urban development. The city is geographically defined by the Nakdong River to the west and scenic mountain ranges—including Mt. Chobong and Mt. Yeongchuk—to the north and east.
