About Zhaoqing
Zhaoqing (Chinese: 肇庆), alternately romanized as Shiuhing, is a prefecture-level city in Guangdong, China. As of the 2020 census, its population was 4,113,594, with 1,553,109 living in the built-up (or metro) area made of Duanzhou, Dinghu and Gaoyao.
Zhaoqing is a city in western Guangdong Province, China with a long history and is an important regional destination. It is known for its scenic landscapes, especially Seven Star Crags and Dinghu Mountain. The West River runs through the area and has played an important role in the city's development.
