Dandenong ( DAN-dih-nong) is a major suburban centre and Metropolitan Activity Centre in south-east Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, about 29 km (18 mi) from the Melbourne CBD. It is the administrative center of the City of Greater Dandenong and one of the largest commercial, employment, and transport hubs in metropolitan Melbourne.
