About Gunpo

Gunpo (Korean: 군포; Korean pronunciation: [kun.pʰo]), formerly romanized as Kunp'o, is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is south of Seoul and in the Seoul National Capital Area.

Located near Seoul and Suwon city, Gunpo is also considered as suburban with its enormous industrial expansion and rapid urbanization. The city is influenced by continental weather. However, this city also takes on the features of an oceanic climate.
