Getting in

There is no directly liked to the city. You can get off at Suseo Station on the SRT line or Seoul Station on the KTX line, and then transfer to the subway lines linked to the stations. Seongnam has two three subway lines: Metro 8 Line, Bundang line, and Shinbundang Line. The Shinbundang Line directly links between Gangnam Station and Pangyo Station, but its charge is more expensive than two other lines. If you want to visit Bundang or Pangyo from Seoul, taking express buses is also recommended.

You can visit most places in the city by subway. Some places are not linked by the subway lines, and then you need to take a town shuttle bus. The city has a convenient bus transport system. It is very convenient to use local map apps, such as Kakao Map or Naver Map to find bus routes. Local people prefer to take a bus when they move between the old town and Pangyo. You can take a taxi at a taxi stand, or hail one on the street. It is recommended to use local taxi hailing apps, such as Kakao T, because taxi drivers are not very likely to understand English or other foreign languages.
