About Iseyin

Iseyin is a town located in Oyo, Nigeria. It is approximately 100 km (62 mi) north of Ibadan.

As part of the southwestern Nigeria, the people of Iseyin also speak the Yoruba language, which is the dominant language in the region. They are also known and reputed for the production of Aso Ofi (or Aso Oke), a popular traditional fabric in the Yorubaland worn on special occasions and during important events. In Iseyin, it is hot all year round, the dry season is humid and partially cloudy, and the wet season is oppressive and cloudy.
