About
About Itapevi
Itapevi is a municipality in the western area of the São Paulo Metropolitan Region, in the state of São Paulo, in the Southeast Region of Brazil. Originally a village of Cotia, it developed following the arrival of the Estrada de Ferro Sorocabana in the 19th century and became an emancipated municipality in 1959 after a plebiscite.
