About Kyzylorda
Kyzylorda is a city in south-central Kazakhstan, capital of Kyzylorda Region and former capital of the Kazakh ASSR from 1925 to 1927.
Kyzylorda is a regional centre with a hot, dry climate. The railway station is close to the centre, and several of the city's sights are within walking distance of it. The city is predominantly Kazakh-speaking. Russian is also used, but travellers should not assume that English will be understood.
