About
About Dangjin
Dangjin is located along the west coast of South Korea. It was Beolseong-gun, Beolsuji-hyeon, Beolchon-hyeon, and Dangpyeong-hyeon in Baekje, During the reign of King Gyeongdeok of Silla, it became the Dangpyeongbu of Hyeseong-gun. Later, in the first year of King Yejong of Goryeo, Gammu was established in Hyeseong-gun and Dangjin-hyeon. In the 13th year of King Taejong of the Joseon Dynasty, Dangjin, Chungcheong-do was the current state and a governor was established. In the 32nd year of King Gojong of the Joseon Dynasty, it was promoted from Dangjin-hyeon to Dangjin-gun.
