About Uiwang
Uiwang is a compact city nestled in the northern part of Gyeonggi Province, just south of Seoul, with access to lakes and low mountains. Its identity is defined by its landscape, which is including nearby hills and lakes such as Wangsong and Baegun. The city is significantly quieter and less crowded than its major neighbors, offering offering a less crowded alternative to larger nearby cities with easy access to walking paths, hiking trails, and birdwatching is possible in wetland and lakeside areas (seasonal).
